Christmas 2006 1st Concise 2679 Traffic Light.
Printed in photogravure by De La Rue on Non-fluorescent Coated Paper (NFCP). The gum is self-adhesive.
Issued 7th November 2006.
The 1st Class stamp depicted “Father Christmas”.
There are two phosphor bands with blue fluor.
Traffic Light Block of six.
Stanley Gibbon’s Concise Catalogue (2019) number 2679 (for the single stamp).
The theme in this year’s Christmas Stamps featured traditional British features. These included Father Christmas, the Snowman, Reindeer, and also a Christmas Tree.
All denominations of this issue were printed in sheets of 50 stamps (two panes of 25 divided with a horizontal gutter margin). And also the surplus backing paper was removed before issue.
